Jason Sexton is Lecturer in the Honors Program and the Pollak Library Faculty Fellow at California State University, Fullerton, and a visiting scholar at UC Berkeley at both the Center for the Study of Religion and the Center for the Study of Law and Society. He holds the PhD from the University of St Andrews, and has taught and held visiting fellowships at the University of Cambridge, University of Southern California, and UC Riverside. He has given public lectures in fora ranging from the Huntington Library to the University of Virginia, in both academic and popular settings, and presently serves in leadership capacity with multiple different scholarly organizations. He has written widely in California studies, prison studies, and contemporary religion/theology, and edited the volume, Theology and California: Theological Refractions on California’s Culture (Routledge).
